Friday, 7 July 2000
7:00 pm onwards
Informal get-to-know-you gathering in the "back room" of Gertie Browne's Pub in Athlone Town Centre.

Saturday, 8 July 2000
10:00 am - 5:30pm
Bus tour of the Geoghegan territories ancient and not so ancient. James Geoghegan Bus Company of Moate provided the driver (Vincent Geoghegan) and guide (Val Connaughton). We were also delighted with the depth of local and family knowledge provided by Fred and Joe Geoghegan and Joe Fox (aged 89) who really added a special significance to the tour. Many thanks also to Tyrellspass Castle who provided us with much appreciated lunch.
7:00 pm - sometime Sunday morning
Clan Banquet at Hatter's Lane Bistro, followed by music, song and dance. Thanks to Mary Loughman for the dinner and use of the hall, to Lough Ree Folk (appearing courtesy of Pat Cusack - thanks Pat) for the music, to Val for the stories and to all who contributed with song, dance and craic.

Sunday, 9 July 2000
Swearing in of the new clan chieftain, Seamus MacEochagáin (Jim Geoghegan) at Cnoc Bua.
